Seaside Beach Escape, Cape May, Walk one Block to Beach! light/bright/comfy
Wake up each morning refreshed from the sea air. Take an e-z stroll to the beach to warm your toes in the sand. Eat breakfast on the sun porch and snooze in the rocker. Spend the afternoon in the large sunny living room relaxing or playing games. Grill some local fish or steaks and enjoy dining in or visit many of the local restaurants. And guess what, turn in for the night in your cozy bedroom and enjoy 6 more days just like the first! This house provides a larger entertainment area on the first floor and the privacy of a separate 2nd floor for an extended family. Please note that this is a large house and the pictures are deceiving, we purchased the house spring of ’05 and completed quite an overhaul in 2016.
There is a 3 season sun porch that runs the width of the house. The house is very sunny with hardwood floors, there is a very expansive floor plan with 25′ living room (queen sofa, sleep sofa, and entertainment center) and is open to the dining room. The first floor has one bedroom w/double, another a king (or 2 twins) and the last 2 twins and also 2 full baths (one new 7/05 and 2020); the second floor has a 2nd party kitchen, large open entertaining area, 2nd-floor deck with a peek of the ocean, queen and the second, King (or 2 twins) and 2 new full baths (5/06). There is a nice level yard with off-street parking for at least 3 cars, we just added ac on the first floor 2019, 2nd floor has nice ac units (one in each room, bedrooms, and living room).
5 bedrooms, 4 baths, sleeps 10-16, perfect for 2 families.

House is available for rent for off-season rentals. Rates range from $125-$400 a night for one unit to $300-700 for both units. The rate depends on the # of guests, date, and # of days

We stayed in the second-floor apartment and were very happy with our visit. Beach is one block away and the area is very quiet. A nice, short 20-minute walk to Washington Mall or a short drive. Sally’s hospitality was great and the apartment was clean. We will stay here again on a future visit!
Great location in a great beach town
Really nice (and super clean) house in a great location, block and a half from the beach and an easy walk to Washington Square. Sally is a fantastic host (very attentive and responsive). House has everything you could ask for….and I’m going to say it again….Super Clean!
Immaculate beach house, 9/22/19
We can’t say enough good things about this cozy beach house! It’s located on a beautiful street, super close to the beach. Everything is within walking distance. We stayed in the upstairs apartment and it was perfect! It was extremely clean and so comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is there. We very much enjoyed the private deck and couldn’t get over how quiet it was. Sally is very responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to return next year!
Perfect Vacation Spot 9/6/19
I loved this charming home. Perfect for the four of us. (We rented the upstairs apartment) I stayed with my dad, sister, and uncle and we had plenty of room and never felt like we were in tight quarters. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to accommodate us while we were there. I loved having our own porch to sit and have coffee in the morning. House is located super close to the beach and on a very beautiful street. I love Cape May, and Sally’s house has everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I will definitely be coming back and will be staying here. Thanks for your hospitality 🙂
Perfect Beach Cottage 9/8/19
My family of 5 adults stayed in this lovely beach home in September 2019. This is our second visit and we were totally delighted both times. Sally had remodeled and redecorated several areas since our first visit and all I can say is this home is beautiful and comfortable! We felt like we were truly “at home” here! Being able to walk one block to the beach is an extra added bonus as well as the adorable sun porch (my favorite place to drink coffee and listen to the waves break early in the morning!). Sally is wonderful to work with and attends to every need. We love coming here and will definitely be back again soon! Thanks, Sally!
We are still daydreaming about our amazing stay in Cape May this summer. This was our second time staying at one of Sally Hulbert’s properties and it did not disappoint. The property is in a great location, was impeccably clean, and was outfitted with everything we needed for a great stay (dishes, cookware, beach chairs, etc.), including an outdoor shower and fantastic patio. Thank you, Sally. We are hoping to return in 2019!
Sally was wonderful to work with. She was very attentive and responded quickly. The home is as described, maybe even better. It was VERY clean and had all we needed for a great week. We would definitely go back again.
This is a very clean and comfortable beach house. It is very close to the handicapped accessible ramp at Trenton Avenue, so getting a stroller or wagon out to the beach is a breeze. For a large group, having a second kitchen is wonderful. There is room for everybody to spend time together, but also privacy at the end of the day. Also, Sally is very accommodating and helpful
