This charming, fully renovated house is not just “dogs allowed”, but is truly dog-friendly. Bring your best friend along and enjoy all that the area has to offer. The property is nearly two acres of woods, which attract interesting birds to the yard all year round. The first floor offers a well-equipped kitchen, dining porch, comfy living room, laundry/ half bath. Upstairs offers a main bedroom with a balcony overlooking the woods, a bath with tub and tile shower, and a second bedroom with twin beds.
The House on the Hill is located four miles from the award-winning beaches of Cape May. A short drive to all that Cape May has to offer: shopping, dining, tennis, boating, whale watching, live music, and theater. The house is also very near to new cool spots–breweries, wineries, and a distillery. The area is world-renowned for birding, and the woods that surround the house make interesting species visible from the back decks.
The yard is fenced so that kids and dogs can play safely.
Cape May has become a year-round destination with lots of fun and cultural activities offered all year. A place rich in history yet up-to-date and stylish.
The yard has four Adirondack chairs and a Weber grill. Porches offer seating and a porch swing, and there is an old-fashioned tire swing, too!
We live 2 miles away and always leave our guests in peace. But if needed, our cellphone numbers are provided, and we are very responsive.
We provide linens–sheets, towels, and washcloths.
Exterior doorbell camera in use.
We do not accept any parties or wedding goers.
As much as we adore our kitty friends, we cannot accept them as guests. Other guests may suffer from allergies, and we need to be conscious of their comfort.

Shoulder season 2 night minimum @$250/night
In season weekly Friday-Friday@ $1850
$75.00 Covers more than one dog. We don’t increase it for extra dogs. And our cleaning fee is $95.
