Lovejoy Cottage at 725 Page Street
This is a charming 1920s storybook cottage in one of America’s most charming seaside towns. Fully and lovingly renovated in 2025, with beauty and comfort at the forefront, this quiet and secluded cottage is an easy walk to the beach, the Washington Street mall, and all the world-class restaurants and entertainment in the heart of historic Cape May. The property includes parking for two stacked cars.
The screened front porch provides the perfect viewing spot for the horse-drawn carriages that pass Lovejoy Cottage and provides access to the comfortable and well-appointed living and dining areas. Also on the main floor is a large master bedroom with a queen bed and a full (shower) bath with luxury finishes. A well-appointed kitchen with a Miele fridge, dishwasher, and induction cooktop, and a pantry with a microwave and Nespresso coffee bar, plus a separate laundry closet, complete the first floor.
The upstairs sleeping loft contains two twin beds and a full bath (shower). It is accessible via a circular staircase that is appropriate for children aged 7 and older. A portable travel crib is available upon request.
The backyard sanctuary includes a large deck with access from both the primary bedroom and the pantry. An outdoor dining area and a hot and cold water shower are located on the deck.
Guests provide their own towels and linens for one queen and two twin beds. Or you may contract with one of the several services that provide linens in Cape May. Blankets and pillows are provided in the cottage, as are beach towels and chairs.
Guest rates for 2026 are $3850.00 a week in the high season (June 27 to September 12). For the remainder of 2025 and 2026, the cottage is available for a three-night minimum. Call or email for availability and rates. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. No pets, smoking, or loud parties allowed anywhere on the property. Security cameras are installed on the outside of the property only.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for a week-long reservation, with the balance due 2 months prior to the start of occupancy. Three-night stays require full payment at the time of booking. For cancellations 30 days prior to occupancy, a full refund, minus a $400.00 convenience fee, will be provided. For cancellations less than 30 days before occupancy, deposits/fees are forfeited.
A $500.00 security deposit and a $150.00 cleaning fee are also required at booking. The security deposit will be refunded within two days after checkout, assuming no damages or losses to the property. Check-in is at 3 pm, check-out by 10 am.
