It has been on house tours since the 1980 s. This house has been lovingly renovated in 2017 by Alice s daughter and architect son-in-law. Abundant windows, French doors, a back patio and 3 porches capture ocean breezes. During cooler seasons, the Vermont castings stove warms the gallery-like first floor living areas. The dining room table seats 10, a side table adds 6, with eat in kitchen and back deck tables for 7 more. The house is loaded with art, books, and artifacts from generations of Cape May fun, creativity and history. With ocean and historic district views, 2 open and 1 screen porch, beds for 12, AC, Wifi, Cable, HD TV, DVD, CD Player, you are in the heart of Cape May. The 5 bedrooms include a 2nd floor Master with queen bed, en suite tile bathroom, walk in shower and a ocean view porch. The next bedroom has a twin bed, desk, washer, dryer. The 2nd floor rear room offers a queen bed and a 3 season enclosed porch with daybed. The generous 2nd floor tile bath offers a tub/shower w/grab bar. The 3rd floor front bedroom offers 1 queen and 1 full bed with the best views of the ocean and Congress Hall, a flat screen TV, and a seating area. The rear bedroom offers a skylight with views of a striped Victorian Cupola and Widows Walk, a full and a twin bed, chaise lounged, and wired Internet. A full bath with tub and shower sits between these rooms. The back deck offers an umbrella table for 4, Weber gas grill, 2 storage sheds, an outdoor shower with foot wash. Boogie boards, sand toys and chairs are available for your use, but not guaranteed. New for 2021 added air cleaners, HEPA vacuum and extra cleaning supplies.  Two Permitted parking spaces provided.
