The Cottage Beside The Point sits on a private park like landscaped 1.5 acre of property with beautiful gardens and a small pond. It is next door to a 23-acre farm and Cape May’s famous “bread lady”, who sells her home made brick oven bread several days a week, along with her farm grown organic veggies.
The Cottage is located on Sunset Blvd, which is an easy 2-mile drive to the center of town for all your shopping, dining and sightseeing needs. It is walking distance to the Cape May State Park and Lighthouse, the World War II Lookout Tower and Sunset Beach (with its beautiful sunset ceremony) as well as Cape May Point beaches and the popular recent media acclaimed Red Store Restaurant.
This tastefully decorated private second floor Studio Apartment is ideal for romantic weekend or a longer vacation. It offers a kitchenette, electric fireplace, TV, VCR/DVD and Free WiFi. A small private terrace overlooks the gardens. There is a queen-size bed and full-size futon. The interior Cottage is a smoke-free zone. Amenities Include:

When staying at Cottage Beside the Point, the possibilities are endless regardless of what you like to do while on vacation. Stroll down to Sunset Beach and hunt for ‘cape may diamonds,’ bike to the State Park for nature walks, a view from the Lighthouse or bird watching. Go in the direction of town, and you will find shopping, wineries, nationally known restaurants, art and antique shop, horse drawn carriages, and beach front bar/eateries. If you prefer water activities you are close to Whale Watching, fishing, kayaking, parasailing, and much more.
Cape May is lovely throughout the year. We require a 3-day stay for most times of the year, however in July & August a weekly rental is required.
