Can I rent a house for just 2 nights?

Yes and no. In season (between Memorial Day and Labor Day), the majority of vacation rentals in Cape May are available on a weekly basis only. For exceptions, you'll need to check with properties on a case-by-case basis. Off season (after Labor Day and before Memorial Day), you'll find a large number of properties who rent on a nightly basis.

Are all rentals Saturday to Saturday?

The majority of Cape May rentals are a Saturday changeover, but there are a few Friday and Sunday changeovers available.

How do I get my keys, and what payment types can I use?

Payment types and where you pick up the key to your rental property will vary depending on the owner or realtor handling the rental. Please ask them for details.

Do I have to bring my own linens and towels?

Yes. Linens and towels are not provided when you rent a vacation house in Cape May, with very few exceptions. (Blankets and pillows are provided, though.) You will need to bring your own bedsheets and towels for the duration of your stay. But you're in luck! There are local companies who rent towels and sheets to vacationers, so you can save much needed room in your suitcase.
