The Joseph J. Heron Cottage, built
1870, is a charming, bright, comfortable, and
spacious three-story Victorian that is available
year-round and only two blocks to Congress Hall, the
Washington Street Mall and restaurants. Enjoy the sound of hoof beats as you rock
on the porch and watch the carriages going to
Washington Mall.

The first floor has two parlors, dining
room, kitchen, breakfast room and a bath. A queen
sleeper in the parlor becomes its own room with its
pocket doors. The two parlors, dining and breakfast
rooms allow guests the flexibility and choice to
either read, watch TV or play a board game all at
the same time without disruptions. Cable TV with
VCR, DVD, an honors system book library, and
CD/stereo are provided between the two parlors. The
dining room has a phone and high speed internet
connection. The first floor bath has been totally
remodeled for 2009.
The second floor has four bedrooms: two
with double beds, one with a queen and one with a
single, as well as a full bath with tub.
The third floor has a recently added
bathroom and two full size bedrooms: one with
two twin beds, TV and DVD, and the other with a
queen bed and sitting area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a
double oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven,
coffeemaker, blender, refrigerator with icemaker,
pantry. Off the kitchen are a breakfast room and
laundry center with iron ironing board, washer,
dryer and vacuum. The backyard has a gas BBQ grill
and an enclosed outside shower.

May seaside cottage to enjoy year-round. Available
